Those graffiti covered walls once were pristine slabs of concrete covered in a thin sheet of ice. The ’84 Winter Olympics, were held here in Sarajevo. Since the Bosnian war, the abandoned vestiges of the ’84 games have since taken an eerie feel and are often covered with graffiti and filled bullet holes showing the armed conflict that engulfed the region.
