The claim that the Great Wall of China is visible from the Moon is one of the most famous “facts” about human construction. It sounds impressive because the wall is incredibly long, stretching across mountains, deserts, and plains. The idea became a popular trivia answer because it makes the Great Wall seem almost superhuman.
